Selon The Athletic, un accord a été trouvé à Manchester United pour que Michaël Carrick devienne le manager principal et permanent des Red Devils pour la saison prochaine. L’ancien milieu de terrain est actuellement seulement nommé jusqu’à la fin de la saison actuelle. Mais le média confirme que les deux parties travaillent à finaliser le futur contrat du technicien anglais et de son staff technique. Avec une issue favorable comme objectif.

Une officialisation dimanche ?
Comme l’indiquait Sky Sports un peu plus tôt cette semaine, Michaël Carrick devrait signer un contrat de deux ans avec Manchester United avec une année supplémentaire en option. L’officialisation de ce contrat pourrait intervenir juste avant le match de Premier League face à Nottingham Forest. Le manager anglais est considéré par ses dirigeants, Jason Wilcox et Omar Berrada comme l’homme idéal pour continuer à faire progresser l’équipe comme cela a été le cas depuis sa prise de fonctions.
